Tottenham forward Rafael van der Vaart is hoping the club can hold onto Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Togo striker was a hit whilst on loan with Spurs from Manchester City last season, scoring 17 Premier League goals, and Dutchman van der Vaart hopes the club can bring him back to North London next term.
"He's really important - not because of his goals, but also his personality's great. It's going to be difficult to keep him but I hope we will.""I hope he stays," van der Vaart said.
