Rafael van der Vaart has urged Tottenham to move for Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel. The Dutch veteran is the subject of interest from Liverpool.
Van der Vaart feels Van Bommel, out of contract at Bayern Munich at the end of the season, would be a good addition.
"He is a super player with lots of experience, who would help any team," he said.
"Tottenham want to take the next step to get to the same level as our local rivals Arsenal. I think that is possible. Therefore we can use good players."
