Van der Vaart: My best moment since joining Real Madrid
Rafael van der Vaart was thrilled with his matchwinning goal for Real Madrid against Sevilla on Saturday.
The Dutchman has fought hard this season to stay in coach Manuel Pellegrini's plans and came off the bench to hit the winner against Sevilla.
"I've suffered like no one else and eventually made a place for myself in this team," he insisted. "I'm proud of what I have done.
"Celebrating the goal was crazy, unbelievable. It was my best moment as a Real Madrid player."

Anonymous u misunderstood me. I mean he proved himself. I am a fan of v.d.vart.
VDV is pure quality. Too bad pellegrini doesn't see him as a regular starter. It's just favoritism. IMO, VDV should have moved to the premier league. ManU need an attacking midfielder and ferguson should have got him in the ronaldo deal.
Were you watching the same match as everybody else? VDV really made a difference on saturday with his goal and set pieces that assisted Ramos's goal.
