Rafael van der Vaart has hailed Tottenham's summer arrivals Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor.

The 28-year-old is delighted with what the duo have brought to the starting XI.

"(Adebayor's) a great player and a great lad as well," he said.

"He's working really hard for the team. When he doesn't score it's so important, he gives passes, works, he's quick and he's got good technique.

"Scott Parker at the moment is our best player because it's amazing how he tackles and blocks the ball. It's amazing to watch him."
