Rafael van der Vaart says Tottenham can beat Champions League rivals Werder Bremen tomorrow night.

Van der Vaart insists Spurs can win in Germany.

New-boy Van der Vaart, 27, said: "The Champions League is something special.

"We have a good chance of beating Werder. They are strong attacking but defensively have problems."

Spurs plan to play the ex-Real Madrid ace for an hour against Werder as he works his way to full fitness.
