Tottenham ace Rafael van der Vaart has revealed that the players knew nothing about manager Harry Redknapp's heart problems.
The Spurs boss today underwent a minor procedure for a blockage in one of his arteries but van der Vaart said it was news to the players who all hope their gaffer soon returns to full health.
"No, we were also totally surprised," the Dutchman told Sky Sports News.
"I was a little bit scared because it's something that has been in the news and they never told us.
"I hope he will get better and we can keep on winning for him."
