Van der Sar deal will not end Man Utd bid for Schalke keeper Neuer

Schalke 04 goalkeeper Manuel Neuer remains a target for Manchester United.

The News of the World says while Edwin van der Sar is ready to pen a new United deal, the pursuit of Neuer will not be shelved.

Van der Sar is likely to come under threat next season if United complete their proposed deal for Schalke 04 keeper Neuer.

He has already seen off Tomasz Kuszczak and Ben Foster, but Neuer has been told he would come in for a straight fight with van der Sar.

Re: Pierrott Barbe. I find your comment about Van der sar very very strange ! I respect your a Man Utd fan since 1960 and i also belive and hope that United sign this new keeper in the summer. But by sporting United for 50 years doesn't make you a goalkeeping staff at OT, Saf and his staff is convinced VDS is still up for the job and i totally belive it! VDS, did great in Milan so get your facts right, he was not at fault for Everton's 2nd and 3rd goals our make shift defense without Rio and Vidic are to blame!!

Am a fan of Man United since 1960 and wish to comment on Sunday's defeat.

it is right time now that VD star step down as he is very slow in his movement etc.
2he did not move at 2 goals on Sun and the same thing against Milan in European cup.
