Manchester United legend Edwin van der Sar is confident new manager Louis van Gaal won't ignore the academy.
Van der Sar played for Van Gaal with Ajax and Holland.
"It's always exciting when a new manager comes in," he said. "This season was obviously a major disappointment but I'm sure van Gaal will turn things around with the help of Ryan and the other coaches he brings in.
"He'll have a look at the youth academy as well and I'm sure there will be a couple of signings, too. So yes, it's exciting."
