Former Manchester United goalkeeper Raimond van der Gouw is surprised by his old club's struggles this season.
He has sympathy for David Moyes but admits surprise at how United have laboured for so long under their new boss.
"Every coach who came after Ferguson would have had the same problem in the beginning. Moyes needed time to get everything the way he wanted. However, I am surprised United are struggling so much this season. But, to be fair, the other sides are also playing better and better," Van der Gouw told the Manchester Evening News.
