Dutch legend Marco van Basten was unimpressed by the antics of Chelsea ace Didier Drogba during their famous Champions League triumph over Barcelona.

Indeed, Van Basten says Drogba didn't look a 'big player' over the two legs!

Van Basten told the Sunday Mirror: "In the first leg against Barcelona, Drogba really ­annoyed me. In the Nou Camp he was less irritating. But he was left all on his own in the front line.

"Drogba has had great years at ­Chelsea. He was a big player. I say 'was', because he did not look the big player in the semi-final.

"At Stamford Bridge he was going down like a dying swan all the time.

"He did not need to do that, with his status. When I see him like that, I find it ­irritating and it gives you the idea that he has lost it.

"But he was always capable of brilliant things. He can still be the match-winner in ­Munich."
