Espanyol coach Ernesto Valverde has confirmed midfielder Jonatas is moving to Flamengo during the winter market.

He said: "We would have liked a different outcome, but he had problems settling in Barcelona. He has an ability few have, but he couldn't adjust to Spanish life and his teammates here."
