Real Valladolid striker Javi Guerra is attracting plenty of interest from Scottish giant Rangers.
The 29-year old has scored 37 goals in the past season-and-a-half in Spain's Segunda Division and is a player who has emerged on the radar of 'Gers boss Ally McCoist.
"Valladolid are going well in the second tier in Spanish football just now and he has been battering in all sorts of goals.
"He is someone else's player and it wouldn't be fair of me to say much more than that, but he is a top player.""I don't like discussing other team's players but he's very good. We've been watching a lot of games," he told Blues News.
However, Valladolid's technical secretary Alberto Marcos says only a solid offer would see the club even consider selling their star talisman.
"Javi is on everyone's lips but we won't consider just any type of income," Marcos told the Daily Record.
"Every team needs a striker and presumably Javi is in a good place for his quality and goals. They must come with a solid offer and tell us, 'This is what you get'.
"The future of Real Valladolid comes first and, for us, Javi is very important.
"There is no stipulated figure but the number must be high enough for everyone. We would need cash to fill the gap caused by his departure."
