Real Valladolid chief Jose Luis Caminero has denied reports he's set to join the football staff at Atletico Madrid.

"There really isn't anything," said the former defender. "I only know about this from what I read in the papers. I haven't had any direct contact with Atletico.

"Everybody knows that Atletico shares my heart with Valladolid and obviously I am flattered that a big team can show interest, but now officially I say that I do not know absolutely anything about this topic."
