Valencia striker David Villa was happy to help Spain qualify for next year's World Cup after their 3-0 defeat of Estonia.

Villa didn't get on the scoresheet, but said: "Some time ago we were looking for this. Estonia has fought until the last minute, but winning was all that we were going to do.

"We're happy, not only by results but by how we've obtained them. With the potential of the football that Spain plays, the very least expected was to reach the World Cup."
