Valencia fullback Miguel has welcomed interest from Chelsea.

Miguel has been linked with a swap for Chelsea defender Paulo Ferreira and he said: "Is there something with Chelsea? I only know about the supposed interest through the press. According to people here in Valencia, the news is true.

"But nothing concrete came to me, neither to me nor my agent. I don't know if they spoke to the Valencia directors. What they told me is that they presented an offer but Valencia were not prepared to negotiate.

"I'm happy with Chelsea's interest. Whether it will happen one day, let's see."
