Former Valencia fullback Bruno Saltor is delighted with his move to Brighton.
Bruno agreed a two-year deal with the Championship club on Monday and will link up with another former Los Che star in Vicente, who has agreed a one-year contract extension.
"I had the idea to leave Spain and I had different offers," the 31-year-old Catalonian told the club's official website.
"Vicente is a former team-mate of mine and a friend so it would mean a lot to play with him again, but it's not the most important thing, or a fundamental part of my decision.
"I have seen Brighton games, because of Vicente, and the logical progression for this club is to move towards the Premier League.
"The squad is being built for promotion one day so that is my target now."
