Valencia's Argentine midfielder Ever Banega has hit out at the Spanish media.

Banega believes Spanish journalists are too intrusive and declared: "I came here to play. On the issue of behaviour after hours, we all want a little freedom, but many people (journalists) criticise these things.

"We are young boys and on the days off we enjoy going out with friends. Everybody wants their privacy."
