Valencia winger Juan Mata has welcomed talk of an offer arriving from Barcelona. Barca coach Pep Guardiola has told his board to move for the Spain international midfielder.

"I know nothing, all of these topics I refer to my father. In any case, it is not the first time my name has been mentioned as a possible signing of Barcelona," said Mata, a former Real Madrid Castilla star.

"For me it is an honor that a club of Barcelona's potential is interested in my employment."
