Liverpool's next manager is expected to work with a healthy summer transfer budget upon his appointment.

The News of the World says an initial £15m kitty is available, but this is sure to significantly increase following the sale of Javier Mascherano to Inter Milan and Yossi Benayoun to Chelsea.

It's hoped another £30m can be accumulated if the likes of Ryan Babel, Albert Riera, Emiliano Insua and possibly even Dirk Kuyt are sold.

That will give the new gaffer a potential £80m summer kitty.
