Valencia are looking to sign defender Tiago Ilori on loan from Liverpool.
Reports suggest that the Spanish side want to bring the 20-year old England-born Portugal U21 international to the Mestalla in January.
Centre-back Ilori joined the Reds from Sporting Lisbon for £7million in the summer but has been unable to force his way into the first team with the likes of Kolo Toure, Mamadou Sakoh and Martin Skrtel ahead of him.
Valencia are keen on Ilori as it becomes apparent that Adil Rami will be leaving for AC Milan at the turn of the year.
