Valencia tracking Corinthians defender Paulo Andre

Valencia are chasing Corinthians defender Paulo Andre.

Cadena Ser says Valencia are tracking Paulo Andre as they consider a new defensive signing this month.

Angel Dealbert and Ricardo Costa are both expected to move on this year, leaving coach Unai Emery short of backup options for his first-choice central defensive pairing of Adil Rami and Victor Ruiz.

Paulo Andre, 28, is under consideration as Emery feels the Brazilian would suit their playing system.
