Valencia to push through deal for Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour

Valencia are expected to pounce for Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour today.

Having knocked ASM out of the Champions League last night, Valencia are ready to close a deal for Abdennour.

The defender will arrive as a replacement for new Manchester City signing Nicolas Otamendi.

Monaco want €25 million to sell Abdennour, a price Los Che are now happy to match.

Valencia owner Peter Lim agreed a deal with Monaco during the first-leg of their qualifier last week - dependent on last night's result.
