Valencia have swooped for Gremio striker Jonas.

The 26 year-old Brazilian is flying out to Spain today after Gremio announced they had accepted a bid from Valencia for the striker last night.

Gremio chief Vicente Martins revealed: "The board had already rejected a good offer from Russia.

"But last night Jonas came to us and asked for the bid from Valencia to be accepted. We have announced the agreement."

In 59 games, Jonas has struck an impressive 40 goals for Gremio.
