Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo has welcomed the appointment of Gary Neville as new coach.

The Manchester United legend has taken charge to the end of the season.

“Well, we're starting again, with a different coach, so, good," said Negredo.

Asked about former coach Nuno, who froze out the ex-Manchester City forward, Negredo was tightlipped.

"It's not really the moment to talk about that," he said with a smile.
