City boss Manuel Pellegrini has continued to deny claims that he wants to sell Negredo but a possible departure for the man who scored 23 goals last term is nearing closer according to reports.
It is believed that Negredo's move to Valencia will initially be a season-long loan with the view to a permanent transfer.
