Valencia signing Jeison Murillo says he returns to Spain a better player.

The Colombian defender joined Inter Milan from Granada in 2015, but returned to Spain this summer to join Valencia.

“Inter made me improve tactically and defensively and now I've returned to a nice league with a club which wants to resurrect itself," Murillo said on Radio Marca.

“In Italy they work a lot, learning is important. I played for a great club but now I've gone to Valencia and I have a lot to prove.

“Geoffrey Kondogbia? I knew him well at Inter, even though he's young he has a lot of character and no fear.

“He has a lot to give and he'll show that."
