Valencia set to reject Atletico Madrid offer for Marchena

Atletico Madrid may be forced to look elsewhere for a new defender after attempts to prise Carlos Marchena away from Valencia.

Marchena is a target for Atletico, but after selling Raul Albiol to Real Madrid, Valencia are reluctant to sell.

Panathinaikos have also sounded out Los Che about a price for defender Marchena.
