Valencia president Amadeo Salvo suggests Roberto Soldado’s mooted summer move to Tottenham is as good as done.

The 28-year old Spanish striker will not travel with the Valencia squad for the pre-season tour of the USA with Salvo telling Las Provincias that an agreement had been made with Spurs although they are just waiting for problems with the agents to be sorted.

"The agreement with Tottenham is total," Salvo said.

"A problem with the agents has emerged," he added. "[Once resolved] he will go."

Soldado will head to White Hart Lane for a fee of £25.9million which meets his release clause.
