Aly Cissokho has undergone a medical with Liverpool as his summer shift to Anfield looms nearer.
The 25-year old French defender will join the Reds on a season-long loan from Valencia with the view to join permanently at the end of the season.
Cissokho will provide competition for Jose Enrique at left-back and will bring experience from past clubs FC Porto and Lyon to Merseyside.
