Valencia winger Juan Bernat has wished Roberto Soldado all the best if he happens to leave the club.
The Spanish striker is being heavily linked with a summer move to Tottenham and although Bernat wants him to do well wherever he plays, he hopes he does not depart the Mestalla anytime soon.
"They are negotiating now. I wish him the best, he must decide. We know he has had very good seasons in Valencia, he has given us so much," he told reporters.
"If he stays we know he will help a lot because he scores many goals and that's good for the team; if he leaves I wish him the best."
