Valencia are chasing Nacional de Montevideo youngster Nicolas Lodeiro.
The Uruguayan whizkid has been linked with Liverpool and saw a bid from AZ Alkmaar turned down by Nacional this week.
Liverpool are said to be negotiating first refusal for Lodeiro, who Valencia would have to pay €7 million to convince Nacional to sell.
