West Brom could sign Valencia striker Alvaro Negredo for €7million, according to Plaza Deportiva.

Los Che, who are currently facing financial problems, signed the Spanish striker in a €30million deal three years ago, but he could never cement a spot for himself at the club.

He spent the last season on loan at Middlesbrough and managed to score 10 goals in 39 appearances.

The 31-year-old reportedly has a number of offers on the table, but his preference is to stay in Premier League.

His agent, Juanma Lopez, said: "His goal is to continue competing in a top league in Europe, and the Premier League remains the preference."
