Valencia push Alcacer to pen new terms amid Chelsea, Arsenal interest

Valencia are scrambling to open new contract talks with striker Paco Alcacer.

The Spain international has been linked with Arsenal and Chelsea this week, with offers in the region of £12 million being mooted.

Alcacer has confirmed he's been discussing fresh terms with Los Che and it's understood negotiations have intensified in recent days after Chelsea and Arsenal's interest was made public.

The 21 year-old's current deal expires in 2016 and Valencia have drawn up a new package which will run to 2019.

Those close to talks are confident Alcacer will sign new terms.
