Valencia president Manuel Llorente refuses to admit defeat in their bid to land Standard Liege striker Milan Jovanovic.

The Serbia international is off contract in June and has already discussed terms over a Bosman move with Valencia representatives.

Superdeporte says, however, Jovanovic regards their latest offer of €1.5 million-a-year too low and has instructed his agent to look elsewhere.

For his part, Llorente refuses to give up and is prepared to revise their offer to Jovanovic's minders.
