Valencia president Manuel Llorente has moved to play down fears of selling star pair David Silva and David Villa.
With the club €550 million in debt, it's been suggested by club officials that player sales will be needed to keep Los Che afloat.
Llorente said: "Right now we will not consider selling any player because what we want is that there is stability as the team is doing very well. We should not try to destabilise the team.
"There are other ways to balance the books.
"We do not want months of transfer speculation about Villa and Silva this season."
