Valencia are planning a January bid for Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva.
The News of the World says Valencia are ready to offer £7 million for the Brazil international in January's winter market.
Gilberto admitted last week he would have to consider his options if he remained on the outer of manager Arsene Wenger's first team plans.
