Valencia owner Lim calls Woodward about Man Utd defender Rojo

Valencia have made a move for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo.

United boss Jose Mourinho is happy for Rojo to leave this month and an offer from China was accepted for the Argentine earlier this summer, only for the player to refuse to move.

Radio Taronja says Valencia owner Peter Lim has made personal contact with United chief Ed Woodward about a fee for Rojo.

Lim has close ties with United and is a regular visitor to Manchester as he part owns Salford City.

Rojo is yet to take the field for United this season.
