Valencia No2 Ruben Uria: Players and fans can be proud of Barcelona draw

Valencia assistant coach Ruben Uria says they can be satisfied with their 1-1 draw against Barcelona.

Rodrigo Moreno had Los Che ahead before Jordi Alba's scored Barca's equaliser. However, the match was dominated by Lionel Messi's disallowed goal.

Uria, who stood in for the suspended Marcelino, said afterwards: "We have made a huge effort against one of the best teams in the world, if not the best, the players have been emptied, the second half has been very good, spectacular, Valencia and Valencia fans have to be congratulated.

"The feeling is of tranquility, of congratulating the kids, who have made a huge effort, they were very good."

On Messi's disallowed goal, Uria told Barca to play to the whistle.

"From my position, I did not see it, they tell us that it has gone in. To have a goal, the referee has to see it, the linesman has not seen it, we are in favor of the technology."
