Valencia are chasing Portsmouth midfielder Sulley Muntari.

The Ghana midfielder, 23, has been a smash hit with Pompey since his £7million summer switch from Udinese.

Valencia manager Ronald Koeman said: "We seem to have missed out on Momo Sissoko but Muntari plays a similar role and he would be excellent."
