Valencia midfielder Tino Costa says there's big differences between French and Spanish football.

The Argentine moved to Valencia last year from Montpellier.

"French football is stronger and more physical," explained the Argentine. "Spanish football, in contrast, is more about building from the back, moving the ball about and using short, quick combinations.

"They're different styles and you need time to adapt."
