Valencia are moving for Newcastle United captain Fabricio Coloccini.

Toon boss Alan Pardew will fight to keep the Argentinian who he describes as "one of the best central defenders around", says the People.

Coloccini, a £10m signing from Deportivo La Coruna in 2008, has a couple of seasons left on his contract.
