Valencia have asked about Emmanuel Adebayor, according to his entourage.
The 32-year-old striker is still without a club after leaving Crystal Palace in the summer but there is a bit of interest around.
A spokesman for Adebayor told Foot Mercato that Spanish side Valencia, as well as clubs in China and Qatar, are eyeing a possible move for the former Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur attacker who is off to the African Cup of Nations with Togo in January.
"For Emmanuel, his priority is the African Cup of Nations at the beginning of 2017," said Adebayor's representatives.
"There are contacts in China and Qatar. Only Valencia in Europe have made an enquiry. The African Cup of Nations will be decisive."
