Marca says new Valencia sports chief Juan Sanchez has placed Manzano on his shortlist of candidates for the coaching position, which is currently being filled in a caretaker capacity by Voro.
With the appointment of Manzano, Valencia could welcome the likes of Mallorca players Dani Guiza, Jonas Gutierrez and Ariel Ibagaza to the Mestalla.
