Valencia have lost goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez for a month with a knee injury.

The 39-year-old picked up the problem in Saturday's 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad and had to be replaced early in the second half.

Scans later revealed the extent of the damage and Cesar will now be out until late January.
