Former Valencia captain David Albelda has entered the spat between Cristiano Ronaldo and Xavi.

Real Madrid star Ronaldo has accused the Barcelona legend of being a virtual nobody, claiming it is he who is the most searched footballer on the internet.

"The statements regarding Xavi by Cristiano Ronaldo are out of place.

"The great players are not measured by what appears on the internet," said Albelda, now a pundit.
