Valencia youngster Montoro Angel has revealed he turned down an offer from Real Madrid to sign a pro contract through to 2013.

"The offer from Real was important," said the teenager, "but as Valencia have shown their faith in me, I chose to stay with them.

"I do not want to leave. I hope to be involved with the first team this season. I will train with coach [Quique Sanchez] Flores' squad every day."
