A trio of European clubs are now showing significant interest in Fenerbahce defender Caner Erkin.

The 25-year old Turkish left-back is out of contract this summer and is free to move on from Istanbul at the completion of the current campaign.

Tottenham and Liverpool have already been credited with an interest in Erkin but it has now been suggested by Football Direct News that Spanish outfit Valencia are also keen.

Los Che are struggling financially which could force them to sell homegrown young gun Juan Bernat this summer as a number of English clubs are circling around the Spain U21 international.

That could prompt a pursuit of Turkey international Erkin, who joined Fenerbahce from CSKA Moscow for £1.6million in 2010, but they will have to see off competition from Spurs and the Reds if they want to land his services.
