Valencia have joined the battle for Benfica whizkid Gonçalo Guedes.

The 17 year-old has been likened to Bayern Munich star Franck Ribery and has the German giants and Arsenal also keen on his signing.

A Bola says Peter Lim, fresh from completing his buyout of Valencia, plans to sign Guedes in January.

The teen debuted with the first team on October 18 and played 65 minutes in the Portuguese Cup match against Sporting Covilha, which was won 2-3.
