Valencia happy to be back on Man Utd’s right wing
Antonio Valencia says he is thrilled to be back in his more customary role of right wing for Manchester United.
The Ecuadorian spent time at right-back earlier this term but has been in great form since again being deployed on the right side of midfield by Sir Alex Ferguson and he is relishing being back in the more familiar role.
"I feel more comfortable being back in my usual position.
"The manager asked me to fill in at right-back because two or three of my team-mates were injured. I was obviously happy to do that, especially when he mentioned that it was only for a brief period.
"But I am more comfortable in my own position.""I think when you do manage to put in good crosses and create goals, it does give you confidence," he told the club's official website.
