Valencia fullback Jordi Alba has played down interest from Manchester United.

Alba is also interesting Barcelona.

"I am happy in Valencia, and want to enjoy this moment," said Alba.

"I prefer to avoid the pressure from these rumours and only live each day to try and progress

"Now I would see it very difficult to leave Valencia."

The player's representatives admitted they had heard of United's scouting of the player but insisted nothing was imminent.

"Nobody from Manchester United has contacted us, the kid is calm and is only focused on Valencia," his agent Vicente Fores confirmed to skysports.com.
